 For my works I use different types of
veneers.
My works use both the decorative techniques
of marquetry and techniques that I have developed myself.
My intention is to eliminate the difference between applied
art (as marquetry is) and fine art. And thus create a new
form of art. I use natural wood colouring and artificial colours
to create richer and more saturated colour.
Thus the result combines the old craft of marquetry
and the latest techniques of painting.

1972-1979 - Worked as a graphic designer.
In 1979 - Had changed the specialization and began
working on wood mosaic (marquetry).

In 1984 I was honored people’s master in decorative design
and at the same time joined the artistic fond of Armenia. In
1994 became the member of International Society UNESCO in
culture.

Cooperated with Art salons in Armenia, Russia, Hungary,
Germany, Greece (Cyprus).

Through 30 years I’ve been producing my works in marquetry. I have
developed more then 200 new technologies have no analogies
in the world.
Laying marquetry I tried to wipe off the difference between the applied art (as marquetry is) and the fine art.
